I am a chartered Clinical Psychologist with over twenty years experience, including over ten years NHS experience.
I specialise in the treatment of OCD and other anxiety problems, depression and low self-confidence/self-esteem difficulties.
I have completed further training in Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) and Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT).

Experience
Having consolidated my skills in working with common mental health problems, like depression, anxiety and low self-esteem, I went on to specialise in the treatment of Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD) at two national centres for the treatment of anxiety problems:
Centre for Anxiety Disorders and Trauma (CADAT), an outpatient service at the Maudsley Hospital in London
Anxiety Disorders Residential Unit (ADRU), at the Bethlem Royal Hospital
In 2017, I co-authored a treatment guide for therapists working with OCD, alongside my former colleagues from CADAT at the Mausdsley.
I went on to work as a supervisor and manager in two NHS psychological therapies services in London.
I established Equilibrium Psychology in 2013.

accredited as a CBT therapist with the British Association for Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapies (BABCP), the lead organisation for CBT in the UK
registered with the Health & Care Professions Council (HCPC)

Having worked in the North West of England and London, I have experience of working with a wide range of people from a variety of backgrounds and offer an individualised approach that takes account of all aspects of the person, including culture, faith and sexuality.
